I firmly believe in intentional parenting and its ability to make us extremely good parents to extremely good kids. This means that I believe in doing the best that I can as a mother and working to teach my children and guide them with thoughtful and deliberate choices. All of this enables me to raise each of them to be independent, problem solving, and productive members of society. This includes everything from the words I use, how we implement consequences, and what we choose to expose them to as children.

Easy Ways to Implement Intentional Parenting that can Radically Transform your Parent-Child Relationship
The main reason I love intentional parenting is because even though it’s a hands-on approach to raising kids, it means that as they get older, you can be more hands off. Whether it’s because you have built skills in them to help them cope with emotions and obstacles or because you simply trust them more, there is a benefit to being an intentional parent from an early age.

Oh my gosh you have no idea how excited I am to find this podcast/website!!! I literally just stumbled upon the podcast yesterday and binge listened to 5 episodes in a row! I’m hooked. I needed this in my life. My son is 15 months now and everything you’re saying makes sense and is doable and necessary. I’ve always wanted the focus to be on intentional parenting but I’m not always sure I’m doing it right (because I’m not perfect-which I knew now I don’t need to strive for!). This is so encouraging and I feel I have more useable tools now! Thank you!!
