Unit I: Geography of Oklahoma

Description

Unit I of the Oklahoma History Homeschool Curriculum is all about the geography of Oklahoma. Students will become acquainted with basic geography identification in order to understand the terrain of the state.

Students will explore land forms and bodies of water in the state that comprise the geography of Oklahoma. It is important to start out with a basic understand of the terrain so that students can understand the impact of geography on the state’s history.
