Inspiring and Unique Birth Affirmation T-Shirts

In preparing for my homebirths, I started designing birth affirmation t-shirts, tank tops, and all sorts of products and apparel in order to give myself positive messages to focus on any moment a felt the weight of anxiety kick in.

I made them for myself, husband, and even my entire birth team to wear if they so desire. I wanted to not only write out birth affirmations and have Bible verses posted in my house, but I wanted positive quotes and an overall encouraging birth environment established and part of doing this was to have at least my husband and myself wear a birth affirmation t-shirt to keep us both focused during labor.

Since my husband was my coach in all 3 of my labors and I look at him the most, it was most important for him to have a shirt for me to meditate and focus on and just help me breathe, focus, and pray through every contraction during birth.

Please remember that if you are the laboring mom and not the birth team to size up one or two sizes in order to accommodate your baby bump belly!

This shirt is inspired by my 2nd homebirth VBAC and because so many laboring mamas dig into their primal instincts and let out powerful growls and roars while pushing and going through contractions.

Shirts for Doulas and Midwives

On my Spreadshirt store, you can find shirts and tank tops that include titles like “doula”, “midwife”, or “coach”. As requested by my first midwifery team, they are in multiple colors and not just white to accommodate for the reality of a messy birth situation.

 

Buy one for mom, dad, doula, or anyone that might be in the room to give mom something positive to focus on!
