Peanuts Movie Party Snacks
To make our Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Woodstock treats we picked up the following items:
- Horizon Organics Mozzarella Cheese
- Honest Tea (Organic Honey Green Tea & Orange Mango flavors)
- Pop Secret pop corn kernels
- Ziplock Bags
- (We also got some other ingredients like grapes because we tried to make snoopy ears, but failed. Label it as a Pinterest fail, but I will spare you!)
Charlie Brown “Charlie Juice”
Simply take off the label of your own Honest Tea bottle. Start at the edge and gently peel and unwrap. Once you are done, draw in and color the zig-zag pattern with a black marker. After you have done this, you can cut out the pattern and wrap it back around the bottle. The wrapper should still be sticky enough that you’ll have no problem re-adhering it.
Woodstock Corn
The easiest of easy is making some popcorn as your Woodstock character. Because He talks in dots and dashes, we had fun pretending that while the popcorn was popping, it was like Woodstock talking! And in the end, the little popcorn puff look like little Woodstock birds. You can then making them into whatever you want or eat as regular popcorn. We sometimes like to make them sweet with cinnamon and sugar, but plain or with butter is still great!
Snoopy Nachos
So I admit, this one is more difficult, but if you watch the video below, you can see a simple way to draw Snoopy and then replicate it with pureed beans. We only tried it once and it came out pretty great! Plus it’s a really tasty treat for a party or just for watching movies.
