Adorable Christmas Pizza Bites perfect for snowy day cooking
My daughter, unfortunately, loves bread just as much as the next preschooler. And while she actually does love veggies, some days are more of a struggle tan others. So to ring in the holiday season we decided to make some personal Christmas pizza bites and decorate them to look like Santa Hats, Christmas Trees, and Snow capped branches.

Making simple Holiday Pizza Snacks shaped like trees & Santa Hats
In an effort to move away from every holiday treat and snack being full of sugar and chocolate, we decided to do what we could to find ways to make cutesy snacks that pack more of a nutritional punch.
And while we actually don’t do santa in our house, it’s fun to talk about the story of Saint Nick and make some Santa Hat inspired creations to chow down on and even give out to neighbors.
So we encourage you to make a new tradition too and make some fun Christmas snacks, while reading the book, and prepping to give to others in your local area.

What you need to make Homemade Christmas Pizza Poppers
First and foremost you need pizza dough. I actually make homemade biscuit batter and use that most of the time. You can buy traditional canned biscuits too.
If you want to make trees and want them to look really authentic, go ahead and use a Christmas Tree cookie cutter. I have this one and it was perfect for this project… though I only used it on some of the trees.

Red Ingredients
Pepperoni
Red Pepper
Tomatoes
Pizza Sauce
Green Ingredient Ideas
Bell Pepper
Baby Spinach Leaves
Green Onion (Chop them up and “string” them along a cheese covered tree to make it look like tinsel and Christmas lights.)
White Ingredient Options
Shredded Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Cauliflower
Goat Cheese
Onion
Garlic

Shape each dough piece into a triangle and then go ahead, get creative, and make some rocking awesome Christmas pizza creations.
We cut strips of bell pepper and layered with mozzarella cheese to make snowy Christmas trees. Chopped up grape tomatoes to make it look like some of the trees had ornaments, and let our imaginations take over to make fun pizza poppers to enjoy together.
