“Chialaxinut” – a healthy, power-packed snack
I remember the first time I tried coconut milk I gagged. I didn’t like it. But as time went on and I started my health journey of eating healthier, and healthier, my tastes changed.
Now I love coconut. I think it’s delicious. Coconut anything will do!
Therefore I started trying to find other ways to implement it into my diet and to help keep me on the right track with my own nutrition. And this, my friends, is one of my very favorite make-ahead breakfast ideas and I lovingly called it Chialaxinut.

During our Whole30 journey, I tried to find really easy ways to eat great food. And my husband and I both soon realized that if we start our day off right, we typically ended it healthy too.
And these fit the bill of being a clean food to eat each morning (or at least on rotation from our other favorites).
How to make Chialaxinut: a health make ahead breakfast
Gather up your ingredients:
- 1 part Chia
- 1 part Flax
- 1 part Hemp Hearts
- 2 parts Canned Coconut Milk or even Coconut Cream
Measure out one part of each of your powerhouse foods… chia, flax, and hemp. Personally, I can’t eat much more than about a tablespoon of each and then two tablespoons of coconut milk. It’s dense and filling!

While you are measuring that, take your can of coconut milk or coconut cream and place it in a bath of warm water before opening the can. This will help with the separation.
Shake it after a few minutes of it hanging out in the warm bowl. Then open and pour on top of your layered and beautiful seed mixture.
You might still have to stir it, but it doesn’t change its nutritiousness or flavor!
Save overnight or for up to 3 days in the fridge.
