The Tea Act actually made British tea cheaper than ever before in the colonies. So why were colonists so angry about it? Read both statements and decide which best explains colonial frustration.

We the colonists objected not just to the price of tea but to the principle behind the Tea Act. Statement A: Cheaper tea put colonial merchants out of business. Statement B: The Tea Act proved Parliament believed it could control colonial trade without colonial consent regardless of the price.
